Reagan

Sophmore - STEM

Reagan Paige Johnson is an accomplished Honor Scholar and sophomore at Xavier University of Louisiana, representing Houston, Texas, with a growing reputation for leadership, advocacy, and academic excellence within the field of communication sciences. At just 19, she is majoring in Speech Pathology and Audiology with a focused interest in research, health equity, and expanding access to culturally competent care. She serves as a Student State Representative for the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association, where she contributes to statewide student engagement initiatives and professional development efforts that strengthen the next generation of clinicians. On campus, Reagan holds a dual role as a Student Representative within Xavier’s One Stop Enrollment Services, equipping students with critical guidance on academic pathways, financial processes, and institutional navigation—experience that gives her a rare, systems-level understanding of the college journey. A passionate mentor, Reagan is deeply committed to empowering first-generation and underrepresented students to navigate higher education with clarity and confidence. Her work is grounded in both service and scholarship, with emerging interests in research and advocacy aimed at addressing disparities in speech-language pathology and audiology. Reagan’s presence is both polished and purposeful. As a campus tour guide, she delivers an experience that is not only informative, but transformative—bridging insight, authenticity, and vision to help prospective students see themselves thriving at Xavier. She does not simply present the institution; she interprets its value, culture, and opportunity through the lens of a scholar, leader, and future clinician. With a trajectory toward becoming a clinician-leader and change agent in healthcare, Reagan Paige Johnson represents the caliber of student who not only excels within institutions, but elevates them.
